The Last of Us star Bella Ramsey is opening up about dream roles, and one of them could surprise Marvel fans. While attending HBO’s Emmys nominees event in Hollywood, the actor revealed they wouldn’t mind stepping into the Marvel Cinematic Universe — specifically as Spider-Man.
When asked about joining the MCU, Ramsey said: “I don’t know about that. I could be Spider-Man. Tom Holland did a great job though. So maybe they do need to make a new (superhero) for me.”
Interestingly, Ramsey admitted they’re still new to the superhero world. Their first Marvel movie was Andrew Garfield’s The Amazing Spider-Man, which they watched just a few months ago. “Incredible. I loved it,” they said.
Beyond Marvel dreams, Ramsey also reflected on their close bond with The Last of Us co-star Pedro Pascal. With Pascal’s Joel meeting a tragic fate in season two, Ramsey joked they’d love to reunite in a totally different kind of project: “Maybe like a heist movie where we’re robbing a bank together.”
Fans constantly ask about Pascal, Ramsey shared with a laugh: “Is he as nice as he seems? The answer is yes.”
Ramsey attended the Hollywood event as a two-time Emmy nominee for their performance as Ellie in HBO’s The Last of Us.
