Tevin Hood, better known as T-Hood, 33, was shot and killed during a dispute at his home on Friday, in what Gwinnett County police are investigating as a homicide. He was found with multiple gunshot wounds and suffering from heavy bleeding.
The rapper, known for hits like Girls On Your Knees and READY 2 GO, was rushed to the hospital but was pronounced dead, his mother Yulanda confirmed to TMZ.
According to Channel 2 Action News, the shooting took place around 7 p.m. at a residence on Lee Road in Lilburn, just outside Atlanta. Yulanda has refuted rumors that a party was taking place at the time of the incident.
Music producer Deedotwill honored the late rapper by posting a series of photos together and writing, “We were just on the phone all day. I still can’t believe you’re gone. Rest in peace, T-Hood. I love you, brother.”

Kelsie Frost, daughter of reality star Kirk Frost, mourned the loss of her boyfriend in an emotional Instagram post, writing, “Just come get me, baby, please… I can’t even type this. I love you, papa, and I can’t wait to hold you again,” while also addressing and dismissing circulating rumors.
Minutes after the news of his death broke out, Kelsie spoke at length about the situation, rumours and lack of privacy. Taking to her Instagram, she posted, "First off I’ve been advised not to speak up by plenty of parties. I can’t sit back and let this narrative being created go on. The love of my life is GONE. the man I lay with and cuddle every single night…is no longer here. I want to ask for respect and privacy I won’t because I will always defend my baby. I don’t condone this s*** in anyway shape form, or fashion. I am sick to my stomach. I don’t wish this on any one. My brain is all over the place, this is a total nightmare but I’m gonna get this off. I don’t even have time to grieve or say my respects in the right manner because I am defending myself, being attacked by people who are creating weird and sick rumors."
